I have a dc restaurant mystery I need help with. My partner and I have been intrigued by what seems to be an abandoned restaurant/bar on Congress Street NE, a little alley behind the NoMa REI. We see that it has a sign called Chop Shop but
only see a Chop Shop in Alexandria listed online. We’ve walked up to it and saw lights on, but it looks like it was just abandoned one night. It would be a cool spot! They have cool decor still on the walls. Any chance you know what happened/might happen in the future there?”
