Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan turned out to be the first blockbuster of 2023. After the humongous success of the film, the makers held a success meet with the media and fans at Mumbai’s Taj Lands End hotel. SRK, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham and director Siddharth Anand graced the event in style. Notably, Shah Rukh Khan came in front of the media after almost four and a half years. John and SRK showed their brotherhood on stage.

The Pathaan star said, “Just one correction. Shah Rukh Khan isn’t back. He had just gone for a loo break.” Well, his comment indeed left people present their in splits.

On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan also kissed John Abraham on the stage. He called John’s character Jim as the backbone of Pathaan. The Baazigar star said, “I really believe the backbone of Pathaan is Jim played by John. To play a bad guy who is so… to be rightly bad, to take a cynical view of the world and exploit its weaknesses. He was very gentle and kind to me in action scenes.”
Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, has grossed Rs 542 crore at the global box office. The film also stars Dimple Kapadia, Ashutosh Rana and Salman Khan in pivotal roles. Pathaan was released on January 25, 2023 in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.
